The calibre of speakers at this Sharing Power Conference is extremely high.  All speakers are world leaders in their respective fields and are often Keynote speakers in their own right.  The distinction between Keynotes and speakers therefore is purely programmatic. Once the Programme has been confirmed, the biographies of speakers and other presenters will be available at this site. An early indication of some speakers includes; Linda Tuhiwai Smith (author, Decolonising Methodologies), Grazia Borrini-Feyerabend and Michel Pimbert (authors 'Sharing Power') and many more.

Five of the six IUCN Commission Chairs will be contributing, Aroha Te Pareake Mead (Chair, CEESP),Nikita Lopoukhine (Chair of the World Commission on Protected Areas) , Shelia Abed (Chair of the Commission on Environmental Law), Simon Stuart (Chair, Species Survival Commission) and Keith Wheeler (Chair of the Commission on Education and Communication).
